New Missionaries Arriving in the Greatest Mission Ever!

Today, Sept. 9th is President Parkers 60th birthday!  Here he is receiving his
hot fudge brownie as we all sing Happy Birthday to him.  I am so grateful I've
had the blessing of being married to him 37 of those 60 years. The greatest
blessing I have is being married to an eternal companion who loves and serves
the Lord with all he's got.  He inspires me every day to be a better disciple of
Christ.  And there is no better way to celebrate a birthday than to pick up new
missionaries!

And here they come!  Introducing Sister Townsend from the great state of Texas!
Welcome Sister Townsend to the Australia Adelaide Mission!  We love you
already and can't wait to see what miracles the Lord has in store for you!

And this is Sister Taylor from Santaquin, Utah. We are so excited to have you
serving with us here in this great mission.  We love you Sister Taylor and after
a good nights sleep you will be out inviting others to come unto Christ.  Welcome!!

Next we have Sister Mason from Hershey, Pennsylvania!  Look at that great smile
in spite of having no sleep for a long time. Thank you for answering the call to
serve. We love you Sister Mason!

Here comes Sister Rougeau from Jonesboro, Arkansas. Still smiling and ready
to be a light to all here in the Australia Adelaide Mission.  We are so happy
you are here and we love you Sister Rougeau!

This is Sister Garrote from the Phillippines!  Her wonderful smile is contagious
and why is she so happy?  Because she is here to serve her Heavenly Father and
share the gospel of Jesus Christ with all her brothers and sisters.  We love you
and ...we brought a surprise for you.....

This is Sister Condie, Sister Garrotes new trainer.  She has been patiently
waiting for you to arrive!  You are in great hands Sister Garrote.

Look who we found at the airport!!!  Sister Funaki who had left early this morning
with all of the missionaries leaving to go home.  She was still waiting for
her plane and we were so happy to get one more hug before she returns to
her family!!  We love you and will miss you!

  1. Sister mason and two other sisters (sorry don't remember their names) visited me today. Courteous, polite and respectful, all three of them. However on a very average glum day sister Mason's smile was definitely a highlight. I wish them all well.
