More Darwin

This is the gorgeous view out of our hotel window in Darwin.  It's the rainy
season and it's about as green as you can get.  Lush, tropical, and a bit of
humidity!

This great sign caught my attention as we drove.  Haven't tried this dish here
yet but we're up for the experience.

Celebrating those who have had birthdays lately and their companions!  Elder
Fitzpatrick, Elder Pitama, Elder Costalas, and Sister Farrer.  We love you!!

I think Elder Pitama is pretty happy the the KFC finally arrived!  These
missionaries work so hard and we love feeding them!  And we love you
Elder Pitama!

The great Darwin Zone being physically fed after being spiritually fed!

President Parker with Elder Seru.  One fantastic, obedient missionary!  We love you
Elder Seru.

The Sisters of the Darwin Zone!  Sister Rooarii, Sister Villenueva, and Sister
Farrer.  We love you awesome sisters!

More Baptisms!

President Parker and I arrived in Darwin and were privileged to attend the
baptism of these two precious sisters, Kylena and Kelvia, who are roomates.
Here they are with the wonderful sisters who taught them, Sister Villenueva and
Sister Rooarii.  They were so excited to be baptized and the tears of joy as they
came up out of the water said it all.

What a joy to hear the full-time missionaries singing  "When I Am Baptized" so
beautifully at the baptism.

Happy missionaries with the newest members in Darwin!  We love you Kylena
and Kelvia.  Welcome to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful day with all of us.

With the swimming pool where they were baptized in the background, we
are all smiles.

Elder Farrer had the sweet privilege of baptizing these sweet young ladies.
This was a great day!

Another Goodbye!

Sister Gail Baker completed her 3rd Mission and is returning to her wonderful
family in Utah.  Sister Baker has served in the Adelaide Temple a majority of
her mission and has helped us in any capacity we needed.  You will be missed,
our dear friend, and we celebrate your great service and wonderful example
to all of us.  We love you.

Arrivers Training #2

Arrivers Training #2 was held on Nov. 5th and it was a great day.  These new
missionaries came ready to learn and work hard and have a great desire to
serve the Lord.  They are blessed with incredible trainers and we have no doubt
they will do a great work here in the Australia Adelaide Mission.  We feel so blessed
to have each of them here.  Elder U-Fa, Elder Leutele, Sister Lee-Lo, Sister
Toufa, Sister Fa'alogo, Sister Freitas, and our assistants, Elder Matekohi and
Elder Pitcher!

Elder Matekohi as Sister Parkers visual aid.  Always willing to help:)

Choir Practice

This is a wonderful sight!!  The Australia Adelaide Missionaries practicing for
the Christmas Fireside, led by Sister Larkin.  This is going to be one fabulous
evening filled with the Christmas spirit through beautiful music.  These
missionaries are so musically talented and we are looking for every opportunity
to share our testimonies with music.

It is P-Day and after singing, a few Elders decided to play some b-ball. Some didn't
even take time to take their ties off!

Stopping to pose for a picture for Sister Parker.  Something they are getting
accustomed to.  We love these great missionaries.  They work hard and play
hard!  Elder Hayes, Elder Mooney, Elder Wilkins, Elder Leutele, Elder Chalk,
Elder Bouche, Elder Glova, Elder Ware, Elder Revillo, Elder Larsen, Elder U-Fa,
Elder Fleming, and Elder Flinders.

Today, Thursday, was Arrivers Training #2 for our 3 new missionaries and their
trainers.  Are these awesome missionaries or what!!!!  We spent a wonderful
day being trained by the St. Johns and Elder Wilmott, on flats and finances.
We were taught perfectly by our 2 assistants, Elder Pitcher and Elder
Matekohi on true doctrine.  It was powerful and I personally will never forget
the way I felt as the spirit taught all of us.  Elder U-Fa, Elder Leutele, Elder
Matekohi, and Elder Pitcher.  Sister Lee-Lo, Sister Taufa, Sister Fa'alogo
and Sister Freitas.  These are incredible new missionaries and will be
even more incredible because they are being trained by the best!  We love you.

Interviews

On Friday, President flew to Mt. Gambier to interview some grrrrreat
missionaries!  This is Elder De'Olivier, Elder Tonga, Elder Notsu, and Elder Maughn.
Also, Sister Hall, who, with her good husband, provided a wonderful lunch
for the group.  We love you all!

Another photo of these great missionaries with the wonderful senior couple
who watch over them.  We are so grateful for Elder and Sister Hall and for all
they do to bless the missionaries and the members in Mt. Gambier.  We don't
see them enough as they are a 5 hour drive from Adelaide, but we are so happy for
their great service and examples.  We love you.

A Koala and a Baptism!

Saturday was a great day as we witnessed the baptism of Hala.  This sweet
sister joins her good husband as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter Day Saints.  Elder Wilkins was privileged to baptize her on this special
day.  Welcome Hala.  We love you and your family.

On the way to the baptism, we had a surprise.  This mama koala with her baby
on her back was crossing the road and climbed up the tree in front of the
mission office for a snooze.  We have never seen anything so adorable.
