Sisters Conference!!

My very first Sisters Conference of the Australia, Adelaide Mission was held on
Monday, Aug. 10th, 2015.  It was a day that we did not want to end.  So many
miracles occurred so that this could be the day that our Heavenly Father wanted
us to have.  When President and I arrived at the beautiful Adelaide Temple, the
sisters were there anxiously waiting for this experience to begin.  Our dear
Temple President and his wonderful wife, The Soininens, were kind enough to open the temple
so we could do a session on Monday and........  they were there to greet us at the
door.  Our great senior couples were able to be in the temple with us also,
making it an even more special day.

We are family!  I've got all my sisters with me!!!  In hardly no time at all, we
really do feel like family.  Sisters in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Sister Funaki and Sister Payze. We are missing Sister Goisisi, who serves
valiantly in Darwin.  These three faithful sisters serve as our sister training
leaders.  They lead as Christ would lead.  President Parker refers to them as
Angel #1, Angel #1, and Angel #1!!!!

The sun came out long enough to take some wonderful photos of our beautiful
sister missionaries.  We love you all so very much.  We will remember the time
together in the house of the Lord forever.  Seeing you all dressed in white was
what heaven must really be like.

Next it was off to the mission home for a wonderful lunch.

This is Sister Lawry, our angel Stake Relief Society President.  She was so kind to
come and get everything ready for us while we were at the temple.  We love you
Sister Lawry and thank you for helping us have such a wonderful day.  She is here
with Sister Hall and Sister Hannan.  Two of our extremely wonderful Sisters.
Sister Hall serves with her good husband in Mt. Gambier and Sister Hannan serves
with her good husband in the mission office.  We love you.

This is one more of our incredible sisters, Sister Smith who serves with her
husband in the mission office.  She is here with Sister Payze and Sister Funaki.
The video was shown of the first ever sister missionary sent out, Sister Elizabeth
McCune. Next we talked about "small and simple things" and how much they make a
difference.

We had the privilege of hearing these sisters, who just happen to have angel voices,
sing a medley of hymns that was absolutely beautiful.  Thank you Sister Siale,
Sister Funaki, Sister Coultrup, and Sister Tamana.

Sister Craig making sure our Sisters from Darwin and Alice Springs could see and
hear us on the iPads.  We love you Sister Christie, Sister Makaya, Sister St. John,
Sister Goisisi, Sister Villanueva, and Sister Reyes!
