A Wonderful, Busy Day!!

It's always a great day when we pick up new missionaries!!  This is Sister Reyes
from the Phillipines!  She is wearing a beautiful smile and is ready to serve in
this wonderful mission.  We are so grateful to have you here Sister Reyes and
know you will see miracles.  We love you!

And this fantastic missionary is Elder Glova, also from the Phillipines!  He has
been serving in the Manilla Mission for 4 months while he waited for his visa
so he is more than ready to get to work!  Welcome Elder!  We are thrilled you
are here.  We love you!

Both of these great missionaries know some of our sisters and elders from the MTC!
One more of the great blessings from being a missionary are the eternal friendships
you develop as you serve faithfully with a common purpose.  We are here to
invite all of our brothers and sisters to come unto Christ.

And.......we made it back to the mission office so these missionaries can be
instructed by our diligent office couples.  It is a blustery, rainy day and both of
these missionaries were happy to put on their nice warm coats and a mission
sweatshirt!  They are both being assigned up north, so they will be back on a
plane early in the morning to meet their trainers.  Next, President and I
headed to the Firle Stake Center to hold our MLC meeting.  We come away just
uplifted by the great leadership of this mission.  Our assistants, the zone leaders
and the sister training leaders lead this mission with love and humility and are always
guided by the Spirit of the Lord.  Thank you for magnifying your callings
in every way.  We love you so much. Also a big event today was the departure of Elder
Rigby and Elder Toi to Alice Springs, where they will live and teach "out bush." These are
valiant, obedient, experienced missionaries that will do a great work with the
Indigenous people of Australia.
