Part of the Darwin Zone saying goodbye to Elder Henderson who is the only one being

transferred this transfer. This is a zone that is on fire and seeing miracles.

And this is Elder Duabes new companion, Elder Koch from Henderson, Nevada!

They will be a mighty companionship serving in Katherine. Are you ready for

a great adventure Elder Koch???

Celebrating Elder Heindels birthday. HEre he is with his great companion,

Elder Costales.  We receive texts and emails from these great missionaries

telling us of the people they are teaching, those getting baptized and of the

miracles they are seeing. We love these missionaires. 

And these two great missionaries got caught in a downpour. Elder Makai and

Elder Fitzpatrick were riding their bikes when the rains came. Even their phone 

had to be taken apart and dried out. We are glad they are safe. Its always exciting

in Darwin!!

Arrivers Training

Lunchbreak for the new missionaries and their trainers.  The assistants did some

wonderful training as well as Elder and Sister Larkin. We talked alot about mission

firsts. Here is Elder Mikama and his trainer Elder Hartley.  Next is Elder Ruppe 

with his trainer, Elder Jacobson.  These missionaries will be trained well by these

incredible trainers. They are steadfast, valiant and work so hard. We love you.

Listening intently as President Parker does some training on putting everything 

on the alter for the Lord. These missionaries are taking great notes so they can

let the spirit teach them as they review notes during companion study.

Thank you once again to our senior couples who make sure these missionaries

don't go hungry.  Elder and Sister Tennis will be heading to Alice Springs

tomorrow morning. We are so excited for them  and for the missionaries there. 

Baptism!

This is President Parker with the newest member of the Morialta Ward.  Ian

Wang was baptized on Saturday and what a joyous day it was. There was a

wonderful spirit there and many of Ian's friends.  He was baptized by a friend 

of his Alex Wu, who recently was baptized and received the Priesthood.  Ian bore 

a powerful and very humble testimony.  He humbly announced this was the 

best day of his life. We love you Ian and know Heavenly Father has wonderful

things in store for you.  Welcome to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day

Saints.

Arrivers dinner!

The legendary Elder Rigby getting ready to return home to his family.  Elder

Rigby shared a powerful unforgetable testimony to all of us. He has been a great

leader in this mission.  We love and miss you.

As missionaries come and go, it strengthens our testimonies of the 

truthfulness of this Gospel. Great young men and young woman arrive with

energy and enthusiasm and a burning desire to invite others to come unto

Christ.  Then as they leave, they bare strong, undeniable testimonies of their

Savior, Jesus Christ. They have served and taught and loved and given their all.

We are so grateful for each one of them. 

New Missionaries!

On our way to the airport we saw this great sight. Santa has arrived in Adelaide!

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of 2 new great missionaries in the Australia

Adelaide Mission!  Elder Ruppe, from Statesville, North Carolina and Elder

Mikami from Hermiston, Oregon both from the USA. This was a beautiful

sight to see.  White shirts, dark suits, sharp ties missionary haircuts and 2 great

big smiles.  Welcome Elders! Great things are ahead.

Elder and Sister Tennis are headed to Alice Springs to serve and watch over the 

missionaries there.  They are such a huge blessing to have in this mission.  We will

miss them in Adelaide but they are really needed in Alice Springs. We love

you new missionaries!

Happy Sad Day!

can see here that somebody has had their ties cut off!

Elder Briscoe who is headed to Arizona to continue his mission because of 

visa problems leaves apart of himself in the Australia Adelaide Mission. 

Elder Rigby also leaving a tie for our mission tie board.  I think that is a special tie

Elder Rigby and we will think of you every time we look at it.
